How to Apply
Once you have found the program that is perfect for you, you will apply for approval from Samford University to study abroad using the online study abroad application found on the Study Abroad Programs website.  Below you will find information that we hope will assist you in gaining access to the system and creating your application.

First Time Applicants: (must follow these steps)
1. Look at the programs using this link

2. If you have a program picked out you can enter the name or a portion of the name in the “Program Name” box and click “Search”.  Or if you want to search for a program you can select any of the available options to begin your search and then select “Search”. 

3. In order to view a program, click on the name of the program.

4. Once you have decided which program to apply to, select the “Apply Now” button located on the program brochure page.

5. If you have not already logged into the system you will be redirected to the login screen.  After entering your SU credentials you will have accessed the system and can begin the application process.

6. From this point forward the system will generate the appropriate application to you. 
 
7.  A new application is required for each study abroad program.
 
8. Once you have completed your application, make sure to print your signature verification form and bring it by the Global Engagement Office in Brooks Hall room 221.  You will only need to provide this form once.

Returning User: (after an application has been created)
1. Select the “LOGIN” link in the top right corner of the study abroad website http://samford.studioabroad.com

2. You will then be redirected to the study abroad page.  At this point you should enter you’re username (Samford email address) and password (one you created).
 
 
I Have Decided to Study Abroad:
Once you have decided to study abroad, the Global Engagement Office will need the following forms to complete your application:
  1. Signature Verification Form (if it has not been provided for a previous program)
  2. A current copy of your passport
  3. Your deposit ($500)
